    Great Sunblock!

I've been using Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 55 for about 3 months and I'm glad I had choosen this product. It feels light on skin and has a pleasant fragrance. The package is very practical but it takes some minutes to dry after applying (could be faster). As I'm using Retinol anti-age cream at night, this sunblock has been very safe for my skin. It goes between moisturizer and make up! Great deal and good price =)

    Best product ever

I have tanned, brown skin and I always worry about sunscreens looking too ashy and white on my skin. But this is a perfect product for me. Sinks right into the skin, leaves no trace of oiliness and actually can act as a primer in a pinch. I use SPF 70 right now but can't wait to get SPF 100.

    Matte

I love this. My favorite out of all, and I've tried everything. Including the expensive stuff. I'm very fair and have oily skin. So something matte like this is what I need. Only issue I have is it needs to be reapplied if your in the ocean. It doesn't stand up to the sea salt.

    Great Facial sunscreen

I really liked this product. I have very sensitive skin. The product goes on smooth and does not feel oily. When I run out I will definately be picking up another bottle

    Love it!

I have very sensitive skin and use differin to control my mild acne. As a result I can only use products that are very sensitve on my skin and sunscreen is a necessity. This lotion works well, doesn't break my face out, doesn't feel oily and protects my skin. My only complaint is that it did make my face red if I use it too close to my differin.

Be very careful using this product

My wife recently got me to start using the new Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock with a SPF of 70. The main draw was its proclaimed "sweat-proof" and "waterproof" status. Although the product initially seemed good and appeared to deliver as described, I got a little something extra. Initially the thin skin behind my ears and under my eyes became visibly dry and scaly...read more. This lasted for a week before disappearing and my skin felt like a reptile's. My wife wanted to make sure it was actually the Neutrogena doing this (I've used other Neutrogena products without incident), so I used it again after everything cleared up. Sure enough, withing a day the same thing happened again. However, this time all the dry patches disappeared except for the back of my ears. But the story doesn't end there...the condition started spreading to the sides and back of my neck, then my shoulders, underarms, groin, butt, feet and various areas all over my body along with terrible itching. I just got back from my dermatologist who believes an ingredient in this product caused a reaction in my body and I now have to get two prescriptions filled (one is a steroid) to help get this under control. The last time I used this product was about 3 weeks ago (and, unfortunately, it will be the last). I'm not trying to slam Neutrogena or their product, but I do feel people need to know about this possibility, especially since I realize after reading in here that I'm not the only one this has happened to. I don't know if it's the ingredient making it sweat-proof/waterproof that's doing it or what, but I hope they do more testing. Now, just for grins and giggles, I did a little research on the active ingredients and found some noteworthy info on Oxybenzone. It is a derivative of benzophenone and is present in over 96% of human urine samples (reference is Wikipedia). Oxybenzone is an organic compound that penetrates into the skin and acts as a photosensitizer. This result is an increased production of free radicals under illumination and makes this substance a likely photocarcinogen. In other words, it can attack your DNA and have a destructive effect on it when illuminated. In 1993 the use of Oxybenzone was strongly criticized based on its similarity to benzophenone. Still think I'm crazy?

    Great protection

My dermatologist recomended this sunscreen to me because I have oily skin and get break outs easily. I can wear this sunscreen under my makeup whithout it causing too much run. This sunblock is lightweight and rubs in pretty well. It is a little greasier then i'd like but, this is the best i've found yet from a sunscreen. I burn very easily and I have had no burns when using the 75 spf.

    Works miracles!

It is a fabulous product. It smells pretty good and made my skin feel lighter and even more moisturized than normal. I blend it with a little liquid foundation and put it on before i go into the sun. It works beautifully. It's definetly worth the price!

Not As Good As It Used To Be

Like everyone else, intially, I fell in love with this product. I purchased it in SPF 30. It was matte, lightweight, sheer and left no white film.... perfect for my oily dark skin. When I first reviewed it, I gave it a "10." This year, however, I purchased it in SPF 100 and noticed a difference in formulation. It does not spread as easily and the white film takes longer to dissipate...read more. If your skin is not absolutely dry prior to applying the product, it's almost impossible for the white film to disappear. Perhaps, this is more evident on dark skin. Also, the scent, though bearable, is rather unpleasant. For now, I prefer La Roche Posay's sheer liquid sunblock in 50 SPF.
