Like it but not my favorite.
I have two different colors in the Tarte Cheek Stain. I ordered them off of QVC because of all the good reviews on it. I may not apply it right but find it much easier to use a powder blush. Great color and lasting power!
Like a few other reviewers, I stayed away from this blush as it did not sound at all easy to apply. However, I received the color Sunkissed in a swap and have to say it is the best blush I have ever used. The color looks totally natural on me, it goes on easy and lasts all day. LOOOOVE IT!
This is by far the best cheek product I have ever encountered. I am a professional makeup artist and have used all types of cheek gels. They're either hard to blend and look splotchy or dry out in the package shortly after you buy them. Also the colors are either way to light and don't build or are uneven when applied. On very fair skin it gives a sheer wash of color. I also love it because it builds nicely and evenly if you want more intensity. great for a hot summer day
I love wearing this cheek stain when I'm not doing VERY minimal makeup. A great product..Well worth the price!
I have this in the shade "tipsy" and it goes on a very natural, healthy, slightly flushed pink. You can apply a small amount for light, natural coverage or apply more layers for a darker, more distinct blush. It's nice and dewy and makes your cheeks glow without being oily. I've been using mine daily for about 3 months and can barely tell I've used it judging by the amount of product I have left. Love it!
I have Flush(sheer bright pink) and Tipsy(sheer peachy, pink)and cant imagine what I would do without these. I wear them over the Tarte's Smooth Operator and my skin looks flawless. I have dark brown hair, with fair skin so these two colors are the only ones light enough for me to wear. I tend to like Tipsy a little more because it is a bit more subtle. Love it!
I bought this in "Blushing Bride" 4 years ago and still have half the tube left and I do use it every day. it is absolutely wonderful and water-based, which makes it easy to work with and especially to take off if you put too much on. Great product!
I've seen this product mentioned in the mags quite often and for good reason...it's great! I'm African American with dark skin and I thought the colors wouldn't show up on me but they definitely give me a nice healthy glow. I recently bought Sunkissed and I love the way my skin looks. I can't imagine not having it. I've been laying a tad bit of Cargo blush in Laguna on the apples of my cheeks and I've gotten a few compliments on how I look rosy lol. Waterproof
This was used on me for a synchronized swimming performance and it didn't budge all day! Can be a little sticky at first, but keep blending and the color becomes a gorgeous flush. I have this is dollface, tickled, and the full blossom natural beauty. Pricy, but a great product
Despite the rave reviews I've read here and other places, I'd stayed away from Tarte's cheek stain because of the price. However, I was lucky enough to get a sample mini version in a "gift with purchase" from Beauty.com, and I really do love it. As others have said, it seems sticky at first, but then it seems to "magically" blend into my skin with just a little massaging/blen...read moreding with my fingers. The color also seems a bit intense at first, but it also tames for a nice blushing, natural look.
