STINKY!!
Not a fan of the smell, but I am a fan of the way it moisturizes. I wish it was unscented. It does make my skin feel nice and does not cause breakouts, so that is a plus and cancels out the smell for me.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Softest, Clearest Skin Ever!

Absolutely the best moisturizer I've used. Makes my skin look fabulous and glow. Although it provides a lot of moisture, it doesn't feel too heavy. Only way to make it better would be to add SPF, and maybe do something about the smell (which isn't fabulous, but still tolerable). My Beauty Mainstay
I've been using Hope in a Jar for years, and I continue to be loyal to it. It is my go-to moisturizer - I never get tired of it. And I am not typically this loyal to products- as soon as something better comes along, I'm gone! I have combination skin and still get hormonal breakouts (in my 30's) and it works very well for me - doesn't add oil, moisturizes and smooths well, and give me a glow. not for everyone.
when i first heard about this product i was so excited to try it. i have combination skin that rarely has any break-outs. the first night i used it i noticed that it didn't really absorb into my skin, but instead left little beady things on my face. i continued using it though, hoping that i would achieve the fantastic results like the women i had read about...but instead after a week the only thi...read moreng that happened is my face broke out and i got a weird rash! Great Product

Love this stuff!

It stinks, but it works
Yes it smells horrible, but I'm on my third jar of the stuff because it does something to my skin that nothing else has been able to do. Someone else called it lavender... perhaps that's what it is. I've always hated lavender. Every time I use the cream I think of wet dog but it does go away (after quite a bit of time, but it does fade). Just a warning, though: if you go to bed before it is fu...read morelly soaked in, your pillows will smell like soggy doggy (or lavender I suppose-- same thing to me). My skin is smoother and clearer thanks to this stuff so I'll put up with the stench. I'm also prone to breakouts and have oily skin, but this does not give me any problems. In fact, I think it's actually helped me.
