OPI is wel worth the pricetag. I rarely have this product chip within the first week of wear (by which time I've probably changed my nail colour already). I love the wide variety of colours available as well, and the names are really clever. So that's what all the fuss is about...!
I'm a low-maintenance gal who is also kind of cheap. Before I tried OPI, I stuck with 99-cent nail polishes from Walgreens (because I'd never use a whole bottle up, plus I wouldn't pay a lot for a color until I was sure I liked it). I thought paying more than $2 or so for a bottle of nail polish was nuts. Now that I've been wearing my first OPI for 8 days (no chips yet!) I understand why women pay more. My nails feel so glossy. Best nail polish ever!
OPI has tons of colors that change every year as well as some classics like I'm not really a Waitress" that is my absolute favorite... They go on smooth and last long, even on my nails, and I have oily nail beds (which sounds really gross but it just means that my polish wears off faster than normal)...This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 5 people said helpful

Pure and lasting color

The Best on it's own, even better as a system!
Amazing color selection, even better names. A great brush, thicker "lacquer" and they make a special thinner that replaces the stuff that evaporates, so you never have to deal with "bad, unusable thick polish". When you use their base coat and their top coat, and maybe even their Chipskip product you have unbeatable hold with minimal chips... better than anything I've ever used when using this as a "system".
