Hands down the best acne product on the market. Mix a little with your moisturizer in the AM and PM and youre good to go.

Works

Bottom line: It works. What you need to know: The bad: -It stains the towels, jeans, or whatever you wipe your fingers on if you don't wash your hands of the stuff first. It will also stain your pillow/sheets. -It streaks. This is why I only use this stuff at night. If you don't rub it in right, this will leave a white chalky streak across your face, and NO ONE wants to see that. -It can be drying...read more. But that is one of the amazing reasons that it works. I use it once a day and have had no flaking or redness. The Good: -I have adult acne. My dermatologist was one appt away from placing me on a Accutane like drug. Persa-gel, combined with C&C Continual Acne Control Benzol Peroxide Wash, Ziana, and moisturizer, saved my face, and my self-esteem. I went from deep cysts and constant breakouts to clear and smooth skin. This stuff is AMAZING. I'm afraid to live with out it.

Good Product

This product does not cause miracles, but it does work. I only use a little bit as spot treatments everyday. I have been using this product for about 4 years and I love it. One tube takes me about three to five months, depending on my stress level (more stress, more acne). Because it last me so long, this is a very inexpensive acne cream.

Doesn't Do It For Me

I have bought this so many times because everyone is always toting how it's the best over-the-counter product for acne. I'll use it for a few months hoping this is the time it works for me and I'm always disappointed. It dries out my skin so bad that I'm more self-conscious of the dry patches than my acne (and I only use it at night so it's not from over usage). And my pimples never seem to shrink...read more or go away any faster than they do when I'm not using it. It's just a huge major disappoint for me. But I'm aware that it may just be my skin so go ahead and give it a try yourself. You never know, it may be your miracle cure!

it works!

I have really oily skin so maybe that is why this stuff works so well for me. It is strong, so be careful not to use it too often or use too much. If I use it on a pimple, it dries it out over night. I like it better than proactive spot treatment cream.

awesome, but be careful

i have oily/acne prone skin and have had it for years. this is the highest percentage you can get over the counter and it does help with making blemishes go down. however, my skin got used to it after a while. i had to slather it on like a cream at night and i'd wake up with a super oily face. if you have a more serious acne problem, i recommend going to a dermatologist. use this only as an emergency spot treatment. oh, and it will bleach your belongings.

Amazing!

Honestly, after reading all of these reviews, I was still a skeptical gal. I bought this based soley on the reviews here, and all I can say is WOW! I recently got some acne in the chin area, nothing cystic, more like tiny white pustules. I had been using the Clean & Clear Acne treatment with salicylic acid, and it didn't seem to be clearing up. After 1 use, the acne seem to calm down significantly...read more, and after 3 days, my face was clear again! I usually only use this product at night as it can be drying. I used to use Proactiv, now I don't have to! And this product does not cost you a lot of bucks either. Worth it!
