Another Bare Escentual Winner!
I received a sample of this lip polish. I really loved it! It was light, not sticky and as usual I felt safe using a product made by Bare Escentuals. I have been using their mineral makeup for over 3 years now. I do not purchase any cosmetic products that I do not believe are safe. I make my own cosmetics, lotions, creams, facial masks and the likes. Ultimately, it's all about how you feel, isn't it? And if a product can make you feel beautiful, then it's done its job, regardless of any promises made. You might think you want Bradley Cooper but wind up with Seth Rogen; if you're the happier for it, tear your eyes from the gums of that gift horse and don't look back. Well, I found myself in a similar situation with Buxom Lip Polish. I signed on...read more for luscious, pillowy lips and got the equivalent of Seth Rogen. He might not be the total package but I sure feel gaw-juss in his proximity. What I mean is that Buxom may not make me appear collagen-injected but with what I got I hardly feel shortchanged. The colors are beautiful, highly pigmented but sheer and buildable. It tingles like an Altoid (tell Bradley Cooper that and you might land him after all)and moisturizes like nobody's freakin' business. I've worn it every day whether I'm crashed on the couch or dining out. And then there's the glitter...or shimmer...or the watchucallit. The shine in Buxom gloss is neither. It's beyond microscopic irridescence that transcends day to night restrictions with aplomb. So what are you looking for? To feel scrumptious because what you have has been transformed? Or to feel hothothot because it turns out you can work what you've got with the reckless confidence of the sexy hellcat you know you are? It's good but not great
I'd read so many great reviews the I had to try this gloss. Unfortunately, I'm just not thrilled with it. It's a good lip gloss. The color selection is great. It wears well. It tastes nice and it does moisturize my lips. It just isn't "all that" for me. I didn't notice any tingling. My lips didn't get any fuller than they do with any other decent moisturizing gloss. I bought this gloss in Charity, which is a bright red. It's the perfect color when you want to add a little extra glam to your everyday makeup routine. nice cooling feel
I love the cooling sensation this stuff gives but as for plumping, I don't really believe it does. However, that doesn't matter much to me since I have full lips, I just look for lip gloss with nice colors, smell, and consistency. I liked the smell (kind of like coffee) and the colors, but this generally doesn't stay on long. Lovee it!
I lovee the buxom babes lip gloss/plumpers. They are super shiny and do plump your lips noticeably plus they are HEALTHY for your lips unlike some lip plumpers that burn layers of your lips with acid to great a plumping sensation this plumps your lips naturally and adds collagen which will increase your lip size in the long run. Love this lip gloss!
I am a Flight Attendant, so in the course of a day I see MANY people! Whenever I wear Bare Minerals Buxom Celeste, I get comments on how pretty my lip color is.
