Will Smith's Daughter Debuts Trendy Hairstyle

Smith, pictured here at a previous event with long hair, costarred with her famous father in the movie "I Am Legend." The young actress showed off a sleek Mohawk-style haircut during her introduction of Chinese pianist Lang Lang at the concert.

The young actress had both sides of her head shaved, with the top of her hair still intact and worn to one side, which draped to frame her face. Smith finished the look with a silver star headband.

While some celebrity parents have let their children sport some grown-up hairstyles- think Gwen Stefani and Angelina Jolie's sons, both of whom have had Mohawks- some feel that this is a very fashion-forward look for the 9-year-old.

The hairstyle may have been inspired by singers Cassie, who shaved half of her head earlier this year, and Rihanna, who has recently been spotted with a shorter, bleached version.
