I never used a toner before this one, but actually i will do it for the rest of my life! It really is the difference maker.
I was having problems with breakouts, and then started using this after I washed my face, morning and night. My face cleared up in about two weeks, I would be really surprised if it doesn't work for you. The tingle is fun, and it just makes your face feel clean.
