confused...

Ill first say that Ive only put this product on my face one time, so I cant attest to the skin benefits it may offer. I was given this as a sample to review and really thought the glass pot was cute. I was immediately confused by the color, appearance, and texture for something called a mineral veil. Im a bare minerals makeup kind of gal, so when i see 'mineral veil' i immeidately think of mare...read more minerals transpararent light pressed powder that goes over makeup to set it. This veil came in liquid form, was a dark green color, and appeared shimmery. I first, never put glittery or overly shimmery products on my face so i tried it out on my hand. The color blended right into my skin tone, but did appear to leave a noticeable shimmer. I tried this product again, this time on my cheeks to see how it would change the appearance of my face. Luckily, It did not appears shimmery on my face, but it also didnt seem to do anything- i ddnt notice a change in tint or anything and I proceeded to put the rest of my makeup on as usual. I dont know if I would keep putting it on my sensitive skin, as Im afraid it might cause a major breakout.

hmmm...

I received a sample of this to review, and this product was...interesting. The color is really unique. It supposedly protects your skin from environmental factors, and adjusts to your skin tone. I didn't notice any color it provided, even when I added another coat. It just made my skin, especially my nose, really shiny. I put some translucent powder over top though, and my face looked ok, but not ...read morequite as much coverage as I like. To me this is just kind of an unnecessary step. I give it a 5 because of the protective factors, but other than that, not much to say.

Eh?

Hard to rate. I am not sure what the "enviroshield" effects are nor did it work as a foundation, It gets 7 stars as a primer. It mattified and my pores appeared smaller and my skin soft. It warmed up my tone but didn't cover anything, at all. I think it would be nice under a powder foundation.

Meh...

This product reminds me more of a shimmery moisturizer than anything. In fact, I had a hard time seeing any foundation-like coverage at all. I found the shimmer annoying as well, since I generally prefer a more matte finish. I cannot comment on the anti-aging properties since I didn't use the product long enough to see any benefits. There is just no way this product would be any form of substitute for foundation.

Minimal Tint

I agree to with other reviews. This product is nice, creamy, feels great on my skin as far as moisturizing goes, but the tint is ever so slight. I used it for 4 days and I like the little sparkles, but I need a whole lot more coverage even on my minimal makeup days at home. I do think it would be great for younger girls just starting with makeup.

I, too, am confused

Not really sure of the purpose of this product. I researched how to use it, but still wasn't clear. It has no coverage so I couldn't use it as a foundation, and I didn't want to use it as a moisturizer under my foundation due to the color. I guess I could use it as a tinted moisturizer, but I tend to use CC creams rather than tinted moisturizers nowadays.

not worth the cost

It is supposed to be anti-aging and tinted. It didn't do anything for the appearance of my face. The tint didn't cover any imperfections and the anti-aging did nothing for the wrinkles and sagging either. I had gotten a free sample from totalbeauty but I won't be buying this.

leaves skin looking pretty

{i was given a sample of this from TotalBeauty for my honest review} this is just ok. i like the subtle glow this product gives. i'm more of a foundation gal, so tinted moisturizers aren't really high on my list when it comes to my makeup must-haves. the texture is smooth and it worked well under my foundation.

Is it a Tinted Moisturizer?

So I'm not sure if it is a tinted moisturizer or not...It has the consistency of a moisturizer and the amount of color deposit like you would normally find in one. I used it on top of my daily moisturizer, which is really just sunscreen. I thought it looked fine. It didn't deposit a lot of color, which surprised me because it looked like mud in the container. I would keep using it for daytime wear.

Not clear what it does!

Coverage on this product is very low, so if you have great skin and want a natural look you will love this product. I sadly have some acne so this product was not enough coverage for me. It seems to be a color which would work on a lot of skin tones. Product had no smell or scent. Powder went on over it nicely. Unsure what environmental protection it offers if it has no SPF.
