Useful Styling Product
Bumble and Bumble knows good hair. I have very fine, limp hair that lacks texture so I look for hair products that will add volume without weighing my hair down. This product was recommended to me by my hairstylist who uses it on me whenever I go in. I layer this over the Bb Prep before I blow dry for even better results. I have been using this for at least two years and only just ordered my second bottle. For how amazing the Bumble and Bumble products usually smell, this doesn't compare. The smell isn't bad at all, but it isn't what I've come to expect from Bumble and Bumble. The Thickening Spray (now called hairspray, although this doesn't work like a traditional hairspray at all) is expensive at almost $30 for an 8 ounce bottle, but it lasts and actually works so I think it is worth it.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 7 people said helpful

Why do I change
I love this product. I hate to spend lots of money on hair products and buy drugstore brands. Then I try them and don t like them and give them away or throw away. This is fantastic. It makes your hair so full and thick. Amazing. You only need to use a little because ut does lots. I have not found a bumble and bumble product I don t like. I have fine hair that is slightly wavy. I got this spray hoping it would give my at-home blowouts some volume. It does seem to make my hair a bit thicker feeling, but mostly it just makes it dirty feeling. I spray this on my roots prior to blow-drying. Pretty awful
This spray definitely adds thickness but it is also quite sticky if you use too much and especially so if used on dry hair. I used it first on dry hair and then tried to get a brush through my hair and I had some breakage, which was not a good thing. I also used it on wet hair and then blow dried. I tangled my hair this way too and it's better not to try to get a brush through until it's completely dry. I experienced breakage this way too. I don't know why this product has such good reviews or what I'm doing wrong. My hair isn't fine or thin and this spray should add some dimension to it and shouldn't be causing such damage. It's been reformulated and now has alcohol in it and I found it very drying. I tried it several days in a row and I could definitely see a difference (beyond the obvious breakage) in the level of moisture. I needed to use a hydrating mask a couple of times to undue this issue. This shouldn't happen and I don't know if anyone else has reported this problem or not but I don't think this is a unique issue. I certainly don't want to use a product that causes breakage and dryness, There's simply no point, even if it increases thickness. There are other products on the market that work well (Rusk Thick works really well and doesn't cause any of these problems) so there's no reason to use this Bumble and Bumble product. Obviously the reformulation has had a negative impact. I used this many years ago and loved it so I wanted to use it again. But this isn't like it was all those years ago. It didn't behave like this or else I wouldn't have purchased it again. Years ago it was called "Thickening Spray" not "hairspray". It used to be great but Bumble and Bumble is trying to cut corners somewhere and tampered with a winning formula, probably to save cash but at the expense of their customer's hair. Take a pass on this product. If you want breakage and dryness then by all means use it. I'm returning it to Sephora. I'm pining for the old formula. Amazing Product!
This hairspray is absolutely amazing! My hair is quite fine and is very easily weighed down and greasy looking with most styling products, but not with this little miracle worker! You don't need much, just spritz some onto your roots and work with your fingers whilst blow drying to get an amazing result. Where has this product been all my life!!
I have fine hair that gets weighed down easily with alot of products, but not this one. It's easy to spray to hair and spreads out great. I have truly baby-fine, unrepentantly stright hair. And, it's thin. I've tried some others since discovering the entire Bumble & Bumble "Thickening Line" (except for the new 'bedtime" serum) and when I give up the "trial period" of the others, and go back to this-it's always, "Oh, there's MY HAIR, again!" The Best volumizer/Thickener
I have tried so many volumizers and thickeners over the years for my fine hair and have never been satisfied. I decided to splurge (cause this spray is a little pricey) and I was thrilled with the results.
