Just okay.

Colors are nice, and they're very pigmented. They don't last very long though. And it doesn't ever really dry, so it feels kind of greasy.

Great!

This was my first experience with Josie Maran, and I must say that I'm in love. The Argan Color Stick is similar in texture to NARS color sticks and has great color payoff. Despite having a hint of shimmer, there isn't any grittiness to the texture and it glides on evenly with the ability to blend after. The color, Petal Pink, is described as a neutral pink shade on the Sephora website, but I woul...read mored say it has a hint of warmth. Not so much as to overwhelm those of us who are fair skinned, but enough to bring warmth to wherever it's applied. This little guy is a multi-tasker too in that it can be worn both on the lips and cheeks. Pretty and practical! It has a distinct minty/herbal scent, but it doesn't linger and certainly isn't detectable when worn. If you are particularly sensitive to scents in your facial products, you might rethink purchasing, but aside from a pleasant fragrance when opening the product, I didn't notice much else.

Love You Josie!

I'm a big fan of Josie Maran's makeup line, although not all of the products have been a home run. She's turned me into a die-hard fan of argan oil, and this product ranks up there as one of my faves, almost as good as the oil itself. I bought the stick in petal, and it's a shimmery peachy-pink that's almost identical to NARS' "O" (you know the one) blush and lip gloss. (You'll get a different tex...read moreture and finish on both your cheeks and lips, however.) It feels amazing on my lips, like a nice silky, soothing lip balm with a wash of color that you can make as intense as you like. I can imagine that it'll be an absolute dream in the winter, when these Chicago winds make my cheeks all chapped and dry. It's a big thick stick so you're getting a lot for your money; if I'm going to pay $22 for this product, I appreciate that I'm getting that bang for my buck. I didn't find it difficult to apply to my lips despite the application being a little clunky. A previous reviewer mentioned the smell. Well, there are about six different oils in this product, including tea tree and rosemary, so if you don't like either of those scents, this is not for you. But the oils are what takes this product from a very lovely purse favorite to a multipurpose rock star.

Too Sticky - gave to my niece

This product was HUGE in diameter, sticky in texture, and smelled a bit. It made my face sticky. Gave to my niece. More of a tween or teen item. Who is going to carry this around for their lips seriously?
