Cost = Loss of 3 stars in rating...
Love, love, love this stuff! BUT (isn't there always a but, lol), the cost ($40) per bottle stopped me from giving it a 10 star rating. The bottle is too small for the cost and, for the recommended frequency of use, you'll fly through it so it's cost prohibitive. In this economy (& I think we've learned even in a good economy), gone are the days of purchasing a product at any cost, just because...read more it's good and/or we love it (that's not really smart at any time). It's just plain over-priced. Would love to see the company value their customers by lowering the cost (permanently). Back to the product - - which I used as a leave in product - - it's moisturizing without being oily, gives definition to my curls without weighing them down, 'tho I do have naturally curly, dry hair so, YMMV. This stuff not only works wonders for you mane, but it SMELLS phenomenal!!! The sweet and musky aroma makes you want to pour it all over your body, but don't ;) Just apply after you shower. It cuts down on the length of time you blow-dry by 20% while at the same time is protecting your hair from the heat!!! Win/Win situation if you ask me!! Love it!
Paid $40 for this product at the Aveda salon I used to go to. And was happy to do so bc it is awesome! Makes my hair more managment, shiny and silky. And it helps tons for a smooth style. Believe it!
I have very long, coarse, color processed, multi-textured (wavy/curly) hair and NOTHING I have tried makes my hair look shiny and less damaged than this oil does. Believe me I have tried it all, at all price points, and very few products do what they promise. Moroccan oil does more than they say. It makes hair softer, manageable, smooth and less fuzzy (and it smells heavenly)! Only for Certain Hair Types:
I like Moroccanoil however, it doesn't quite work well with my hair type. I have been using oils on my hair for years and me personally it's a thinner consistency so it only goes so far. It smells amazing though! Works for everyone in the family
I was lucky to recieve this in my beauty tube that I get every 3 months. I use it on my hair(naturally curly(b0rrowed auburn) as well as my daughters hair(african american permed. I also use it on my boyfriends hair, I apply it throughout his decorative cornrowed hair and at the same time he feels pampered as I am rubbing on hair and scalp. Even if this bottle was $50, I would save my money and eat Top Ramen for a week just to get my hands on one bottle. Sorry, but NO product will ever compare. This product actually IMPROVES the health of my hair. THE SMELL IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Do not add shine exactly
I have very fine naturally straight hair that could get frizzy under high humidity (like any hair basically) So, i received my trial version of moroccan oil yesterday and while its smells great (somehow musky) and leaves your hair really soft it does not add shine exactly. I was expecting something that gives soft and shine (basically a miracle in a bottle). Dont get me wrong, this is a really g...read moreood product its just not what I expected and I dont think its smart to spend that amount of money when there are products out there that could do the same for you hair.
