JUST LOVE IT!!!!!!

Hipstick is superb - if you found one that smells of chemicals it is probably old (similar to old-lipstick smell) . When new it smells perfectly fine! I have bought just about every colour and still am buying them! I love the applicator, it is so easy to apply and you actually get to use the whole product (unlike lipstick that breaks, gets messy, melt etc.) The consistency and the gloss are bri...read morelliant, the colours are fantastic, though they could expand the range. Re: hygiene - I have been using this product for 5 years (not the same items of course!) and never had any issues! When I show the product to my friends who have not heard of Styli-style, they all think it is a great idea! It is, quite honestly, one of the best lip products I have ever bought.

Love it for summer heat and travel to warm climates

If you are annoyed with melting, gooey lipstick in warm climates, you'll welcome this product. A combination lip gloss and lipstick, the Hipstick's cometic is encased in a barrel which the user twists to cause its contents to ooze out of small holes in the applicator. No potential of broken "sticks" caused by melting lipstick in warm weather days. If you're worried about germs on the app...read morelicator, don't share your lipstick with anyone else (to counter a previous review regarding hygiene with this product!). The odor is a little different from what one would expect of a lipstick however it doesn't seem to have a strong chemical scent to which a previous reviewer alluded.

No No No!

The smell is plasticy/chemically and just plain bad. The applicator is a neat idea I guess, but it felt unsanitary to use. The consistency wasn't really smooth, slightly gritty for me. I would not spend money on this.

The nose knows!

For those who dislike chemical smelling lip products...stay far away from this one! Upon opening the cap you can smell the strong odor of chemicals. The smell was so nauseating that I only used it once and then put it away in the dark hole of never-to-use-again makeup. However, if you can put up with the smell, the actual product is pretty decent. It has a large contoured sponge tip with the lip color built into the base. It glides on well and the color has a nice appeal.
