Strong But Great for Immediate Results

I used this growing up for sore throats and still do. It will neutralize garlic/onion/coffee breath, but the alcohol in it can cause problems later. However, if you want an INTENSELY clean feel, this is for you.

Intense

Definitely holds the reputation of the most intense mouthwash that is commercially available. It cleans well, but I don't like that there is alcohol in this because it makes it worse later on. I have to dilute this because it's so strong and I normally have a high tolerance to mouthwash.

Cleans well

This cleans well but is really very intense. In fact, it is so intensely flavored that it is almost too strong for me. For this reason I prefer other mouthwashes. Still, it leaves my mouth feeling clean and fresh.

Feel the BURN!

I used to think that because this mouthwash burns so much (and it does) that must mean that I can "feel" it working. WRONG! Alcohol alone doesn't necessarily equal fresh breath, in fact, too much alcohol can end up killing the good bacteria. Ever since then, I have stopped torturing myself! Listerine burns, doesn't have that great of a taste, and frankly doesn't smell as nice as Scope.

It's awesome.

The taste is so intense and it burns, but it doesn't matter. It really does kill bad breath germs. I really like the small bottle, to carry around whenever I go out to dinner and I don't have a toothbrush available. Great after eating strong foods like garlic, beans, etc. Highly recommended.

Strong!

Listerine is the strongest mouthwash I've ever used and sometimes I just don't like the strongness of it and have become to prefer Tom of Maines.

It hurts, but I am addicted...

This mouthwash is too strong that it've got to be working. My whole mouth feel refreshed and clean. I am very addicted so I recently bought a travel size. The green is better than the yellow one. The yellow one gave me even more "burn" feeling, and did not taste good.

Clean and Fresh

I really love this mouthwash because it has a great minty taste and leaves my mouth clean and fresh. This helps keep my breath fresh all day and is crisp and flavorful.
