One of my favorite curl products
I've been using this product for over a year and it's one of the two Curl products I use to keep my curls moisturized, free from frizz, and defined. You get a little over five ounces which is ...read morequite a bit as this product lasts for a while; if you use too much for your amount of hair I promise your hair will get so greasy (I already made the mistake.) Just be careful and play with it so you can see what works for you. Anyways, the packaging is pretty; a green and black that are sleek and easy to hold. The pump on this is great too; just easy to push, and about a dime amount comes out with a full squeeze. This is a pretty thick formula; I thought it was going to be really hard to work this into my hair but the polymers this product has in it grab onto my hair and makes my hair smell so wonderful. I specifically wait til after I've shampooed my hair, dry it down a bit with a towel(after I've brushed it) and than apply some of the cream into my hands and slide it from mid shaft to ends of my hair. I try to avoid my root area as I put some there one day and my scalp got so greasy but I've learned that I don't even need to put any there to make my hair be defined. So as I said, all I do is run the product through my hair (not really scrunching.) I don't need to scrunch this product, which I love, because it does the work for you. I wrap my hair in a soft bun, clip it, and let it dry for about an hour. After I let my hair down, it's soft, curled, and there is zero frizz. I can leave it like that or spray with a hairspray if I'm going to be outside and it won't frizz at all. My hair smells amazing too; has a tropical, fruity smell to it. Coaxed perfect curls from my wavy hair
At first I thought the curls were a little too perfect. Won't use anything else

Not Good for Tight Curls that Shrink/ Product Buildup
If you need more curls this product will produce them but if you already have tight curls that shrink, this just makes them tighter. BUILDUP- left a nasty crunchy film on my hair that I could not get out with my No Poo (sulfate free) shampoo. Ive been using this product for 3 years now and IT NEVER FAILS ME! My eldest sister introduced this to me and I SUPER LOVE IT! I have to ask her to send me this product every now and then coz im living in the Philippines and I have not seen this product there. This is the super mega hair saver for me!! I just started using this product this week after reading about it here on Total Beauty. I have thick, semi-course hair that has a natural wave to it. I have been looking for a product that enhances my wave and hold all day without becoming crunchy or flaky and this fits the bill. Not good...
I bought this after seeing the high ratings from members and a feature article about best products for curly hair. What a disappointment. The product is SO this and sticky, that even when I reduced the amount to a pea-sized dollop, it left my hair sticky and crunchy. Luckily the store I bought it from accepts returns. curls do indeed rock
I looovveee this product. I have been encountering hair issues lately. I'm not sure if it's my age, the weather, medication or what but the texture of my curls has changed dramatically. My hair is curly normally with a coarse texture, but since I went sulfate free, my curls have become much softer and nothing seems to hold them in place past an hour. I tried many different products and nothing...read more seemed to work until I returned to an old favorite- Curls Rock. Gels seem to just flake off in my hair and mousse just makes it sticky, but because this is a creme, it goes on smooth and dries crunchy. Just enough crunch to hold the curls in place, but not so much that it feels and looks like a helmet. I only needed a pump or two back in the day, but now my hair needs about 5 or 6 pumps to hold all day.
