Moisturizing?

I know this is supposed to moisturize your hair, but it did the exact opposite for me! I was a little afraid to use it because of my oily hair, but after I was done my hair was so dry it felt like straw!

Used to LOVE.

Back two or three years ago, I was absolutly in love with this shampoo! It made my thick, unmanagable hair soooo soft and moisturized! When I ran out I began trying other shampoos. A couple of months ago I was roaming the shampoo section of wal-mart looking for another shampoo. I saw this one and remembered how great it was! So I bought it.. But since the company has "reformulated" this product, l...read moreike they did all their products, it isn't nearly as good. I found it hard to wash out, and my hair didn't feel clean. My hair was still soft though, so I decided to try this again the next day. Same results, I tried rinsing it out for 10 minutes, but it just wouldn't come out! I was pretty upset, since I loved this stuff a couple of years before. Oh well...still not that bad though!

Not for my hair.

This dried my hair out - definitely is not very hydrating. I used this along with the conditioner.. The scent is pretty good though.

Not a big fan

I don't know. I loved the scent at first but now it's somewhat cloying and it doesn't wow me on performance either. It is exactly the same Herbal Essences product it's always been and nothing more. A good, basic, perfect for "normal" hair shampoo. Eh.

Not for me, not hydrating enough!

I've tired many Herbal Essences shampoos and I still haven't found one that works well for me! This one was just your average everyday shampoo, it cleanses your hair, makes it smell nice (if you like that coconuty scent), but it didn't help to hydrate or keep it moisturized. After washing, my hair felt the same like after using any other shampoos. Hopefully it works well for you, but it just wasn't it for me.

Same Issue Here...

As what I experienced with the 2-in-1 version of this product, except the 2-in-1 product was worse for me. Herbal Essences used to be much better, back before they came out with this new formula. Whatever they are doing differently now completely messes up my hair. I have a dry scalp and dry ends, but my hair also tends to get oily. I normally use a hydrating shampoo/conditioner on my ends, and wa...read mores hoping this would do the trick. It doesn't. It smells amazing but is completely ineffective when it comes to adding moisture. It also causes a lot of buildup in my hair, even if I only use it on my ends. Ultimately, it's not the product for me.

Smells Great But...

This shampoo is slightly moisturizing but it doesn't cleanse very well. I have extremely dry, tight curls so I only wash my hair around once or twice a week, well with this shampoo I'm shampooing around three-four times a week because it doesn't clean very well. However, I love the smell!
