As a former Elizabeth Arden foundation fan who then tried to love Laura Mercier's foundation but couldn't- I find the Lancome Photogenic line refreshingly light & just right. Seems to have medium coverage & blend in easily- to me it is unobtrusive, non-cakey & a nice fluid texture with a good consistency that spreads just right & is slightly clingy, but not cakey. Love the SPF &...read more; the line smoothing properties. I don't know what more it could do, if that makes sense. Brightens skin but doesn't help with shine
I feel this foundtation brightens my skin and gives me a "glow", and looks great in pictures (hence, the name). However, it does not give a matte appearance and sometimes my face can appear shiny. Used for Years

This foundation is not bad. It has nice colors, blends quite easily into my skin and looks natural. However, when I put it on it does not make my skin look really better than without makeup... It does not perfect my skin like other foundations can (I much prefer Teint Idole Ultra). When I am using Photofenic, my skin looks ok, that's all. Love it
I usually use Lancome's tinted moisturizers, because I like lighter coverage. But when I want more coverage, or am going "all out" for a special occasion, I love this one. I have been using this foundation for years and still love it! I have tried all the new ones that come out on the market but keep returning to this one for its texture and finish.
