I thought this prouct was too heavy.

I tried a sample of this foundation. I found it too heavy and thick. I think as a woman gets older she doesn't need to wear such heavy foundations. I also felt I looked a little pasty. I won't be buying a full size product after trying the samples.

Lancome Absolue Excellent!!

This foundation is creamy smooth, covers very well with just a little product--feels very light. It also feels good for your skin--no dryness or cakiness. It lasts a very long time since it spreads so evenly and covers so well with just a very thin layer. The condition of my skin WITHOUT foundation has improved while using this product--best foundation I,ve ever tried!!!

This foundation is great for my older, ultra-sensitive skin. It nourishes, covers well without feeling heavy, never irritates my skin, and feels just luxurious. It's pricey, but I time my purchases to coincide with Lancome's very generous gifts with purchases (given at least four times per year), so I get plenty of other goodies, including eye shadows, mascara, lipsticks and skin treatments, for...read more free with my purchase. Love it, love it, love it.

I have purchsed this foundation 4 times. It has staying power, but it doesn't dry out my older complexion. It isn't greasy and it is a great coverage without staying on top of my skin. It rubs in easily and lasts the day long. I've found none to equal it for my skin. If it were a little less expensive, I would give it a 10.
