Mild breakouts buy something else...
I only get breakouts every so often, so I ordered the Proactiv system. It has never seemed to work for me. I like the cleanser well enough, but have tried plenty that worked just as well and were less expensive. I don't know if my experience would be different if I had more problem acne. But the cleanser is nice, gets you squeaky clean, but I think most of the acne fighting power is probably in the lotions.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

This works!

Very Happy.
I am really impressed with this product! I am always recommending it. I use it once a day, with the toner, and my skin is soft, clear, and healthy. The greatest in the war against blemishes!
By far the greatest cleanser in the war against blemishes, I use it once a day in the morning it havn't had a breakout or flare-up since I began using it(along with the toner and lotion). It was a bit harsh in the beginning so I cut back to once a day and my skin adjusted to it very quickly. Didn't work as well as I thought
I bought the Proactiv line and followed all the directions and did everything I was supposed to hoping for my skin to clear up. Instead, it dried it out incredibly and I still had pimples. Not worth it
Not only is proactiv somewhat expensive, it's a pain to get ahold of. I was disappointed in the entire line. After a month's use, acne was still visible and frequent, and honestly, my skin was worse than it was before the use. Great results!
My brother uses this in part of the 3-step system, and he has had great results! He has very oily/acne-prone skin, and I know it may irritate people with more sensitive skin. (like me). Good beginning
When I first started using this product last year, it showed great results, I had less breakouts. However over the last couple of months, the results seem to plateau. I still have the occasional breakout and I noticed that it really dried out my skin and I only used it once a day. Effective at first
At first using this product made my skin slightly dry, nevertheless it really reduced the size and amount of my acne. Must have
Works for me. I use it everyday and night. It takes off makeup and the granules leave your skin smoother. You have to be careful with this though. You shouldn't apply a lot of pressure when using, and you MUST moisturize well afterwards. If not, you'll turn into a flaky, peely mess. I'm not sure how this alone works on my acne. The only thing is that after a few weeks my skin starts to look so amazing that I start to slack up on use, and the whole acne cycle starts again.
