As a teenager, I had great skin. Suddenly, when I hit 30, my complexion finally rebelled. I tried every brand, treatment, mask, etc. So, I decided, what the heck. Wouldn't you know, it actually worked! If I travel & forget to bring it, 1 or 2 blemishes will appear. Only warning, it's so good that you can become over zealous & before you know it, your skin can dry up faster than an old catc...read morehers mitt. So, I like to use the wash on my whole face, followed by the proactiv solution on my oily t-zones, & finally use a different brand of moisturizer to soak up those threatening wrinkles. I totally disagree with the comments about celebrity endorsements selling this stuff. I wouldn't care who advertised it. It works. I have combination skin. I get oily patches and dry patches. It does NOT dry my skin out at all. When I use store bought products it either dries out my skin, or causes it to be come red and raw. The amount of benzoyl peroxide in it is much less than store bought produ...read morects. I broke out badly after my 2nd child. Terrible acne everywhere. My face was clearing in about 3 days and totally clear in 2 weeks. I am a homemaker, 32 years old, mother of 4. I swear by this stuff. I have used it since 2002!!!! It may not work for you....but I think if you are faithful, using it morning and night and do NOT wear your makeup to bed, it will work. You can't hope a product works then fight it by wearing oily makeup or sleeping with makup on. Find oil free makeup. Use proactiv. I used to get giant isolated pimples on my chin. Proactiv cleared them up within a couple weeks. I only use the cleanser and the toner (steps 1 and 2 in the 3-step process). They do a good enough job, I don't really need the lotion. I use a non-medicated (cheaper) lotion instead. Once you join the club, you can customize your kits to include the products you like. It does work!!
Some how someone has come up with a way to get rid of those pesky pimples. Thank you! I don't break out alot, usually a little break out once a month, and this product really keeps my skin flawless. The is easily the best acne cleanser I have ever used. I struggled with acne into my 20's and have been using Proactiv products for several years. I have gotten so many compliments on how healthy my skin looking since I have been using Proactiv. I feel more confident and all around better! a harsh cleanser
