    Better than Bare Escentuals.

In my opinion this stuff is better than Bare Escentuals. I have been using BE since I was 16 and it was ok, it always rubbed off by the middle of the day (I had accepted that fate). I also hated that BE was a loose foundation (its so messy if you spill it or using that tap and buff procedure) Until I had read that this stuff was comparable (maybe even better) than BE. Since it is around the same ...read moreprice point I thought I would give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. It covers so well and the sales girl got my color match perfectly. I love the fact that it is pressed and that it covers so well. I have a lot of redness due to acne and such and this stuff covers all of it. I have combination skin so it works perfectly for me. Overall a must have if your tired of the messy BE and want a neater way of putting on makeup.

    I love my MAC!!!

I started using this make up a while ago, beacuse of acne scarring and some freckles that I have. So i went to my local MAC store and the girls at the store recommended this to me. It looks really good and it does cover the imperfections you dont want to show. I used this almost every day and it lasted me for a long time. Anywhere from 3 to 6 months. For the prize it is worth it!!!!!

    Love it

I love this powder. It doesnt feel cakey. Its great coverage on my scars and blemishes, but its not long lasting. I can see it fade off in 4 hours. So a primer is a must. I will buy this again.

    Best setting powder ever!

Last year I've purchaed this powder in NW50 and it's the best setting powder ever! You can even use this wet if you want a sheer coverage like a foundation.

This is the first foundation that actually looked close to my skin color. Stays on a lot longer too.

    Good Coverage/Drying

I love the coverage that I get from this product. I do think that it wears off some during the day. Also, this product dries my skin out some. I have to switch to a cream based mosturizer if I use it.

    Flawless with the Brush

If you want to re-create the flawless look that your makeup artist created on your face at the amazing MAC counter, use the brush with this product. Use #187 Fiber Duo Brush ($42; you can find it cheaper in Franklin Mills Mall Makeup Store if you live in PA). I have two studio fix for summer and winter due to change in skin tone. In the winter, the product stays on much longer and tends to be dr...read morey, so use a good primer or moisturizer to make it look dewy. In the summer, the product tends to be shiny around your T-Zone area but that can be taken care of with oil blotting sheets. Overall, I am satisfied with this product since Fall 2007.

    Not good for everybody

I tried Mac Studio Fix Power foundation and it was a horrible experience and I feel like I wasted 26 dollars of my money. I have acne prone, oily skin so I thought using a powder would be better for me. However, I never looked to oily in my life. I live in a humid climate so by lunch at work my skin looked like an oil slick. Now don't get me wrong the foundation covers very well..(I use a Kabuki b...read morerush to apply mine) but it really does FEEL like you are wearing makeup. Also I had my makeup for a few weeks now and I see that it has gradually gotten darker so now I can't wear it even if I wanted to...(this may be due to oils on my brush) anyways, I know people swear by Mac but if you have sensative skin, hate heavy makeup and live in a humid area this is not going to be a good makeup for you.

    Wonderful Coverage

This has got to be the best full coverage dry powder foundation I have ever used! I have a scar from a car accident that is very hard to cover and this foundation does the trick. With a wide spectrum of colors, everyone is sure to find one to compliment their skin.

    Good...if you use a brush

The first time I bought this foundation the artist matched me with an awful, orange color that looked terrible on me and didn't match my skin. I exchanged it and the second artist was much more knowledgeable towards the product. She found a perfect shade and told me it would be better to use a brush than the sponge included. I thought she was just trying to have me buy some MAC brushes, so I didn'...read moret. Every time I used the foundation with the sponge it looked chalky and gross! So the other day I figured "Alright, I'm trying the brush", Oh my gosh! Now my skin finally looks perfect! I should have listened!
