I bought the Mason Pearson Pocket Size Nylon & Bristle brush just to see what all the hullabaloo was about. As a poor college student, I used to use a knock-off BASS brush that I got at Whole Foods, but Folica's 20%-off discount and free shipping made this luxury hairbrush affordable for me. I use this brush to shine my hair and to strip away any split ends or damage. My only complaint is that the boar bristles bend easily and it is a very *delicate* tool to have. To ensure that this brush works for me, I make sure to use it only on dry, already-brushed, hair. The fact that this brush would not be durable without great care is why I give it 8 starts and not 10, but that is just my honest opinion.
