a smashing hit
I love the way this product sets up my skin for foundation. It smoothes and fills in imperfections in my skin. A little of the product goes a long way making it a nice value for the money. My foundation and concealer glide oneasily and it wears well thruout the day. Foudation's best friend
An excellent primer for my normal/combination skin. Keeps my makeup,even mineral makeup in place without the usual caking. For the more sebum producing/oily types i recommend the Lorac AquaPrime to this, or any primer that's water-based. I highly recommend using a primer if you wear any base- unless you WANT your occlusive poreclogging base to sit RIGHT on top of your skin!! Not Just for Under Foundation
Don't think that you have to use foundation to use this product. While it does create the silkiest,smooth base for your foundation, it also feels so wonderful you may want to go foundation free. I love this product. It may seem pricey but you only need a pea size amount for excellent coverage. Can't live without it~
I have been using Smashbox Foundation Primer for quite a while now. The best way to get it is to visit QVC and get it when it's included in a kit; by itself it's quite expensive. I always have a stash of this because it's included in some Auto-Delivery kits so I'm never without! This goes on great on my skin, doesn't dry it out, and does what it says it's going to do--smooth over fine lines and wr...read moreinkles and doesn't allow your makeup to set in those fine lines. I work 12 hour shifts and my makeup stays on for most of the shift. The only bad thing about it is you can never get quite to the "end" of this bottle that it comes in, I usually end up using a Qtip to get the rest of it out but since I'm usually in a hurry I don't have time to do this, and just end up opening up another one.
