My FAVORITE Primer!
I have oily skin in the T-zone and I have always used a mattifying primer before makeup, otherwise my skin gets so shiny. I have used brands from Clinique, Avon and Bare Minerals and the Smashbox one is my favorite. It gives a wonderful, soft matte finish and seems to also hide minor imperfections even though it is clear. It is pricier than some other products, but I find a little goes a long w...read moreay. It seems a little thick when you first squeeze it out, but it will go on very smoothly. I have not had any adverse reactions to it, and there is really no smell to it. Soooo silky :D
This product is soooo silky, looks great under any foundation, and doesn't clog pores. I'm not a huge fan of silicone, so I don't use it very often. It's also kind of pricey, but worth it in my opinion.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Flawless
No matter what brand of makeup I use, my face seems to "get used to it" and it doesn't hold up as well...that was until I found this stuff! This stuff is awesome! makes any foundation (high-end or drugstore) work like magic!

Great Product
I decided to buy this product because I was going to get my makeup done for a wedding, and I really wanted it to last. When I first put it on, my face felt silky and smooth. Fine lines immedately disappeared, as well as large pores. The make up artist doing my makeup was also impressed. Apparently he had not really used this, but had heard so much about it. I would recommend it, especially for large pores and fine lines. I have an oily t-zone, but combination skin everywhere else. A good primer with a caveat.. .
I really like this primer... it makes my skin feel like silk. It makes my skin feel like silk because of the silicone in the product and after a few days of using it, I always develop flesh colored bumps due to skin congestion. Therefore, I only use this primer on special occasions where my makeup has to last. I think it is a good product but it just may be my skin type that is affected. I didn't think it worked well for me.
I think that Smashbox is a great company, however this particular product didn't work for me. I tried it a dozen times and i don't see any real change when I use it or I don't use it. It is silky and smooth but it doesn't seem to work with making my foundation last longer or smooth out anything. It is almost identical to the products they use for chaffing skin.
