Fresh Launches a Fragrance Collection Inspired by Julia Robertís New Movie, "Eat, Pray, Love."

Fresh Launches a Fragrance Collection Inspired by Julia Robertís New Movie, "Eat, Pray, Love."

With the release of the highly-anticipated Julia Roberts movie slated for the end of July, mega beauty brand, Fresh, has just announced that they have joined forces with Sony Pictures to create a trio of fragrances called Eat, Pray, Love fragrance collection, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Elizabeth Gilbert.

“In beauty, we have to find ways that give interest to the customer to see you and feel good about it. With the Eat, Pray, Love collection, we’re partnering with Sony and with movie theaters and retailers to provide not just a product, but an experience” states Jean-Marc Plisson, chief executive officer of Fresh Inc. at LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics North America.

“Eat” has top notes of Italian lemon, basil and bergamot; a heart of plum, red current and rose, and a drydown of caramel, meringue and vanilla. “Pray” has top notes of elemi, pink pepper and juniper berry; middle notes of incense, peony and rose, and a drydown of patchouli, amber and musk. And “Love” has top notes of bergamot, red currant and mango blossom; a heart of tiare and dewy jasmine, and a drydown of sandalwood, vetiver and velvet amber.

“I found myself trying to translate the words into scents,” Lev Glazmen, co-founder and fragrance director at Fresh exclaimed. “With each scent, I had the chance to create another emotion. And I also created them so that consumers can wear them together — each scent is a different chapter of experience.”

Each fragrance will retail for $32 for a 1-oz. eau de parfum spray. The set will launch on July 15, before the actual movie is released on August 13, starring Julia Roberts. And for those who aren’t into perfume, an Eat, Pray, Love candle trio also will be sold for $45.

It was recently confirmed that “Eat, Pray, Love” star, Julia Roberts, will grace the cover of the all-important September issue of ELLE magazine to promote the August premiere of the movie. It’s been rumored that Roberts will shoot three covers with three different photographers for photos that will grace over 20 international editions of the publication all over the world.
