Juicy Couture to Launch Its Newest Fragrance: Peace, Love & Juicy Couture
The scents vibe, from packaging to smell, is a nod to the brands California roots. "It's inspired by the bohemian sensibilities of Malibu, with a Native American touch," Marcy Fisher, vice president of fragrance marketing for Juicy Couture, said at a recent launch event in New York City.
Wanna know what exactly peace, love and (juicy) couture smell like? Floral notes are the highlight of the scent, featuring a blend of lemon tree blossom, wild hyacinth, sweet apple accord, black currant, jasmine, star magnolia and honeysuckle, with a dry down of sheer patchouli and musk.
The bottle, which features a heart-shaped peace sign and hot pink tassels, boasting its title, is wrapped with a beaded turquoise bracelet that doubles as a stylish accessory and underscores the brand's girly heritage. "Juicy Couture has always been unapologetically fun and optimistic," says Kate Foster, vice president of marketing.
The fragrances upcoming ad campaign is also nothing to scoff at. The campaign has called upon some of fashions biggest talents such as makeup by Pat McGrath, hair by Orlando Pita and photography by Stephen Meisel.
Peace, Love & Juicy Couture will officially hit shelves in September 2010 but you can grab an exclusive rollerball version right now at Nordstrom for $18. And, to note, just like Juicy Coutures previous fragrances, the scent will launch as a limited edition product, but will then be transferred to become a permanent part of the Juicy Couture fragrance line if it sells well in stores.
Will you try out Peace, Love & Juicy Couture and help make it a permanent fixture? Or, are you just plain over JC?
