Gwen Stefani's Neon-Colored Nails -- Get Her Look!

Over the weekend the queen of pop rock, Gwen Stefani was spotted at the US Open rocking neon green-colored nails. Stefani was cheering on five-time champ Roger Federer at the Billie Jean Tennis Center in New York City with hubby Gavin Rossdale.

Green is the new pop star when it comes to fall's trendy nail colors. Olive green, neon green, cool peppermint and forest green -- pick your poison because the green is here to stay -- or at least for the season. Stefani is just one of the many A-listers going green with Rihanna, Beyonce, Annalynne McCord and Alexis Bedel all sporting green nail polish in varying hues. To copy Stefani's nail polish color, try OPI's Gargantuan Green Grape, a neon green color part of OPI's stunning Brights Collection.

As a rule of thumb, darker nail polish colors look better on lighter skin tones since it creates a stronger contrast; so if you have medium or dark-colored skin, try a lighter shade of green and if you have fair porcelain skin like Stefani, go for a darker shade like forest green.

Though a musical artist, Stefani is also known for her unique style including her trademark platinum blonde hairstyles and her Old Hollywood glamour makeup look. With her porcelain white skin and platinum hair, Stefani's striking look is perfected with tomato-red lips. Here are some key points for copying her look:

High-arched Eyebrows: The key to Stefani's dramatic eyes first starts with her defined eyebrows. Pluck your natural arch, but don't overdo it. Then shape with a slanted, flathead brush by applying eyebrow liner shadow.

Winged Eyes: Amp up the drama with flirty bedroom eyes using black eyeliner to create a smooth line across the lid then flipping it up at the ends. Line the bottom rims of your lower lashes with black eyeliner then double up on mascara.

Porcelain Skin: Use a pearlized liquid highlighter to illuminate your skin concentrating on your cheekbones and nose.

Cherry Red Lips: Find a lip liner in a similar shade to the red lipstick you'll be using. Fill in your lips with the liner going lighter towards the center. Then follow up with a smooth coat of the lipstick. Doubling up with the liner ensures the color will last longer. Stefani goes for the classic rock look by skipping the gloss and keeping her lips matte.
