Think we've reached peak millennial pink? A new study shows the hue is the most popular color globally.

If you're betting that red is the most popular lipstick color, better luck next time. If you predicted that millennial pink is the world's favorite, step right up and claim your prize. A study by YouCam Makeup revealed that millennial pink is the top lip color globally. The virtual makeup app reported that over 20 percent of lipstick try-ons in the United States and United Kingdom are millennial pink shades. What's more, close to 50 percent of the top lip colors are pink shades in the U.K. and U.S. It's clear that we all want a pretty in pink look.

The soft pink finish of millennial pink has made it the color we want, from clothes to hair to even food. The sweet shade lends itself particularly well to makeup, especially lip colors. It's an easy-to-wear shade that's less intimidating than some bolder options (sorry red and purple). The pinkish hue makes it more flattering than some neutrals and looks good day or evening and with a multitude of other makeup looks, be they flicked eyeliner, glitter or colored mascara.

Given millennial pink's popularity, you could already have a millennial pink lipstick shade or two in your makeup bag, but any beauty lover knows there's always room for another. Ahead, shop 11 pink lipsticks that will make you that much more obsessed with the rosy shade.
