It's tough to overstate just how goddamn shiny these are because WHOA. The tiniest dab of the silky stuff yields chrome-level metallic drama. The vibrant shade range is a lot of fun and they look especially good worn as eyeshadow.
Some take issue at the thought of shelling out $18 for a simple gloss, but this one really does go above and beyond the call of duty. It fulfills all the basic tenets of what we look for in a gloss and then some: a) it's non-sticky, b) it's long-wearing, c) it's nourishing and comfy, and d) it's shiny as hell. There are three shades and we'd be hard-pressed to choose a favorite (though the new shimmery Fu$$y is very, very pretty).
Yes, it really is "fly." It glides effortlessly across your lashline, draws wings sharp enough to cut a man, and it wears all day. It'll get through sweat and tears (and probably blood too, but we're not going to test that). Add in the fact that it comes in a sweet rose gold-hued tube and we are SOLD. Fair warning, the very wet formula has a bit of a learning curve, but give yourself a couple days with it and you'll be drawing Rihanna-worthy wings in no time.
Out of the gate, these babies quickly became a fan favorite, and we'll always hold a special place for them in our hearts. After all, the shine level really is off the charts (albeit a touch less chrome-y than the Foils) and there are so many gorgeous colors to choose from, from the neutral duos like Lightning Dust/Fire Crystal to the infamously blingy gold Trophy Wife.
