Why: Many readers suffered breakouts after using this product. "After a couple of days, I noticed white bumps on my skin ... Why: Aside from readers complaining that this "is too dense, I just felt like I had a heavy layer of wax on my face," their main issue was that this didn't give them results. One reader explains: "I have not seen any remarkable results. The product itself does not appear to have any ingredients (that I have ever heard of, at least) to actually lighten sunspots, and I have not seen mine lighten at all with the use of this product. The label claims to give you the appearance of baby-like skin, but I don't really think mine appears more baby-like or any different than it was a few weeks ago. I still have the uneven pigment and redness in areas that I had before."

Why: Readers expected more from this serum. "This serum sinks into skin quickly and creates a good base for moisturizer, however it doesn't seem to really do anything other than moisturize. After three months of use I noticed no brightening (except for the boost of moisturized skin) and the slight age spots I hoped would fade remained the same," one reader says.
