Copy this look: Step 1: Start by applying foundation to your entire face to even out your skin tone and perfect your canvas. This allows your eyes to be the main focus. Step 2: Flat iron just the ends of your hair. Step 3: Side part your hair and brush it back and away from your face. Step 4: Secure the hair into a tight, sleek mid-height ponytail. Step 5: Split the ponytail into two sections and twist and pin them into a figure-eight shape, leaving the ends poking out for accent and texture. Secure with bobby pins.

"The trick is [for the bun] to not be overly placed or done," says Knight, so your chignon shouldn't be tight or perfect.
