Makeup: Olivia Palermo
"Olivia's simple, uniform makeup is elegant with the addition of strip eyelashes, which give the look more bang for the buck," says Schlip.

Copy this look:
Step 1: Start by applying foundation to your entire face to even out your skin tone and perfect your canvas. This allows your eyes to be the main focus. Check out these top-rated foundations to find one that's best for you.
Step 2: Dab your ring finger into a rose-colored cream blush and lightly tap the color on your lids, apples of your cheeks, and lips. Try Clarins Multi-Blush Cream Compact in Lychee, $28.50.
Step 3: Now, time for the eyelashes. Curl yours and apply a couple coats of one of these top-rated drugstore mascaras to top lashes only.
Step 4: Grab a toothpick and dull down one end to diminish the point. Dab the dull-ended side into clear-drying eyelash glue and line your top lash lines with the glue.
Step 5: Take a pair of strip lashes (try Make Up For Ever Eyelashes, $15, which come in a variety of sizes and styles) and carefully press the middle of the strip onto the middle of your lash line and slowly tap the inner and outer corners of the strip onto the line of glue.

Step 3: Side part your hair and brush it back and away from your face.

 Makeup: Carey Mulligan
"Carey's lightly smoky, bronzed eyes and rosy cheeks give her a natural and "angelic look," says Schlip.

Copy this look:
Step 1: Apply powder foundation to your entire face. Try one of these top-rated mineral foundations for light, even coverage.
Step 2: Smile and apply a pink blush (try CoverGirl Classic Color Blush in Soft Mink, $6) to the apples of your cheeks in a circular motion.

Hair: Marisa Tomei
"Marisa's messy chignon has a sense of relaxed elegance," says Knight. It's great for shoulder-length hair that's naturally wavy or curly.

Copy this look:
Step 1: If your hair is not naturally wavy, follow these step-by-step instructions to add some curl and texture.
Step 2: When hair is dry, part your hair where you normally do, and loosely sweep hair to the side opposite your part.
Step 3: Twist the side ponytail into a low chignon and secure with pins. "The trick is [for the bun] to not be overly placed or done," says Knight, so your chignon shouldn't be tight or perfect.
Step 4: Pull out a few one-inch strands near your face and wrap them around a large-barreled curling iron to create loose, but polished face-framing waves. Don't love your curling iron? Check out these best and worst irons.
Step 5: Mist with flexible hold hairspray. Try Aussie Aussome Volume Hair Spray, $4.
