Step 2: While hair is still wet, create a deep side part.
Step 3: Blow dry hair straight using a round brush to add soft curl to the ends.
Step 4: Spritz the top of your style with hairspray to calm any frizz or flyaways.
Step 5: Slide in a simple clip on the side opposite your part.

How to get it: Makeup:
Step 1: Subtly define your eyes using brown shadow and liner. Apply the shadow to your lids, sweeping the color out past the outer corners of your eyes a bit. Line top and bottom lashlines with pencil liner (try Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner in Sueded Brown, $9.99 then blend the lines well for a softer finish.
Step 2: Finish the eyes by applying black mascara.
Hair:
Step 1: Create this style with second day hair for a super speedy finish. Spritz dry hair all over with light hold hairspray.
Step 2: Create a middle part and secure hair into a high ponytail.
Step 3: Roll the tail inward toward the crown of your head and secure it using bobby pins.

The look: Side-swept hair with peek-a-boo braids
How to get it: Step 1: Working with dry hair, create a deep side part that extends it just past your ear. Clip the top portion of your hair (opposite your part) out of the way. A diagonal bottom section should remain hanging, says TRESemme celebrity stylist Jeanie Syfu who created the look.
Step 2: Apply mousse (try TRESemme Climate Control Mousse, $4.99) to the bottom section and blow dry hair as you brush it back to the opposite side. Spritz with hairspray for hold.
Step 3: Apply a tiny dab of smoothing cream (try TRESemme Anti-Frizz Secret Smoothing Creme, $4.75) to the hanging section and split it into two parts. Braid each of the two small sections toward the opposite side of your head starting just behind your ear. Secure the braids with small, clear elastics.
Step 4: Release the top section and brush a dollop of mousse through it. Twist it into a bun just above your ear. Secure it with a large hairpin. Gently blast the bun with heat from your blow dryer to warm it up and then let the bun fully cool.
Step 5: Remove the pin for a soft, wavy finish then apply a bit more smoothing cream before spritzing it with dry shampoo (try TRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo, $5.49) for even more texture.

The look: Bare face paired with merlot-colored lips
How to get it: Step 1: Perfect your skin with foundation and concealer. Skip the powder so that your skin remains a bit dewy, says Zamora who created the look.
Step 2: If you have light lashes, apply just a touch of mascara to the base of them to define your eyes very subtly.
Step 3: Zamora mixed a black eyeliner pencil with red lipstick to create this lip color. To replicate it, scribble a significant amount of black eyeliner onto the back of your hand and add a red lipstick to it (try Maybelline New York Color Sensational Lipstick in Ruby Star, $7.50). Apply the mixture to your lips using a lip brush.

The look: Modern twisted updo
How to get it: Step 1: Prep wet hair with a volumizing mousse (try Shu Uemura Art of Hair Ample Angora Volumizing Light Foam, $33), says stylist Conrad Dornan who created the look. Step 2: Blow dry hair using your fingers to rake in as much volume as possible
Step 3: Part hair in the middle and separate it into four sections -- two in the front, two in the back.
Step 4: Curl each section with a 1-inch barrel curling iron and secure each curl to the head with bobby pins for roughly three minutes. Note: I skipped this step because my hair has natural texture, but if yours is stick straight and fine, definitely curl it.
Step 5: Take the pins out, softly brush out the curls, and twist both front pieces towards the back of your crown, securing with bobby pins.
Step 6: Take the remaining hair in the back and fold and roll it into itself behind the two front twists. Pin like crazy until the twist feels secure.
Step 7: Secure the look with a few spritzes of your favorite hair spray.

All of these beauty looks were seen on the Fall 2011 Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week catwalks. Yup, it's true.
So many of the looks we saw were not only gorgeous, but also ones we knew we'd be able to recreate without having to seriously water them down. What's even better? We wouldn't need a backpack full of products to create them, either.
From sexy smoky eyes, to pretty twisted updos, we gathered up all of the prettiest and most wearable looks from the runways to bring them to you.
