Tip 2: I tried filler
It was in her late 30s when Devon really started to worry about getting older, "you don't bounce back as well as you did when you were in your 20s," she says. "What I really noticed first were the lines from my nose to my chin. I would look at my kid's faces -- they were so perfect and cherubic -- lineless. I realized my face had became much more complicated," Devon explains, and that's when she turned to filler.

"The doctor did it on one side first and showed me the difference and I was like --wow!," says Devon of her Juvederm injections she got last year. "I don't mean to seem like you should take [injections] lightly. You should see a doctor and get a consult," she advises.

Fillers aren't for everyone, but if you are curious about trying them, take Devon's advice and consult your doctor to find out which filler is right for you or take this quiz to see if you are a good candidate for such procedures. Makeup tip 1: I play up my lashes
"When lashes are thicker and darker, you look brighter and younger," advises Devon. Your eyes are one of the first things people notice about you and lush lashes are sexy and distract from fine lines around the eyes.

"I had zero lashes after using individual lashes day after day on the set. Then got lash extensions, and after that -- had practically no lashes left," she says. So she turned to Latisse, which she credits for giving her back her youthful-looking eyes.

Not ready to try a lash prescription? No problem. Check out how to get the longest, thickest lashes ever or try an over the counter option like L'Oreal Paris Concentrated Lash Boosting Serum, $20 which has a much lower price tag and is highly rated by our readers.

Tip 2: I add some color
A pale or wan complexion can quickly make you look older, but that doesn't mean you should sit in the sun to get your glow. Instead, follow Devon's lead and use self-tanner on your face. She loves Kate Somerville Somer360 Tanning Towelettes, $48 because they're easy to use for a woman on the go, and they don't cause her to break out (some self-tanning products do).

Devon also uses bronzer on her cheeks to further warm up her skin and define her cheekbones. Her favorite is Laura Mercier Bronzing Powder, $32. She likes it for its matte quality as shimmery ones tend to accentuate her "large pores" (they also highlight acne scars and fine lines).

Not sure how to contour your face with bronzer? Devon goes on YouTube to get step-by-step tutorials, "watch the makeup tutorials -- they're amazing." Check out Total Beauty's YouTube channel for tons of easy-to-follow tutorials.

Exercise tip 1: I just do it!
"I had a talk with myself as I got near 40. I used to get by with working out twice a week, but that wasn't going to work any longer," says Devon about her now daily workout routine, which includes training for a triathlon.

A daily workout, like Devon's, not only allows you to keep youthfully slim, but it can also help to reduce dark circles (which make you look older than you should) and give you an added boost of vibrant energy. A run before you start your day also helps to minimize and reduce cellulite from the inside out. Less cellulite, reduced dark circles and the added bonus of feeling great? Sounds like there are no excuses left not to get out there and work up a sweat.

Tip 2: I just do it ... with sunscreen
Devon, as an avid exerciser, wanted to get in those crucial workouts to maintain her youthful figure and state of mind, but like most women, she was weary of being outside running in the sun: "I would see women who ran and would think how great they looked, but you could see the toll running takes on their face -- from the sun. So now sunscreen is part of my routine," says Devon.

As a self-proclaimed hater of sunscreen, she knows how important it is for her health and for maintaining firm skin. Devon also warns that "you can get what looks like cellulite from sun damage even though it's not really cellulite" because the sun breaks down elasticity in skin. She swears by Raw Natural Beauty Raw Minerals Active Veil SPF, $25 to keep harmful rays away from her face and to keep her skin looking beautiful.

You've probably watched veteran TV reporter and "Extra" correspondent, Dayna Devon, interview the hottest of celebrity starlets on the red carpet and wondered, "how does everyone in Hollywood look so darn young?!" Well, believe us when we tell you, there's nothing in the water accept maybe a bit of pollution (see if you live in one of the worst cities for skin). As Angelinos, we know this first hand. So we decided to call up Devon and demanded to know just what her anti-aging skin care secrets are -- every single one of them. See her anti-aging secrets now.

We wanted serious, no holds-bar, anti-aging skin care scoop on how the busy 40-year-old, hard working reporter and mother of two children under five, manages to look as young, fit and fresh-faced as the celebrity starlets she interviews. And what did she tell us? To our slightly cynical surprise (we're often convinced that gorgeous celebrities perform anti-aging skin care voodoo or drink special potions a la "Death Becomes Her" to look youthful), Devon's secret to looking and feeling 10 years younger lies in a pretty simple method: healthy living with a bit of help from a couple of beauty products and treatments she swears by. "It's about health and it's about living longer and better," says the busy mom, "when you have kids you think about mortality -- you want to be around longer." The good news for Devon is that she gets to "be around longer" thanks to her protective skin care, healthy diet and exercise routine. And as a bonus, she'll look naturally youthful and beautiful during those extra years.

Speaking of protective skin care, check out this list of best and worst at home anti-aging products that have the highest and lowest user reviews so you don't waste any of your precious time (or cash) on products that don't work.
