What Is Tan Physics?
Tan Physics is a sunless tanning system that claims to create a great tan while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It can be applied all over the body, including on the face, chest, back, arms and legs. It contains many all-natural ingredients, which the company claims helps naturally create a tanned look without exposing the skin to excessive UV rays.

How Does It Work?
By using sugar-based tanners, this product claims that it naturally tans the skin by promoting a darker and richer skin tone. Ingredients like oranges and caramel are said to stain the skin and make it look tanned while amino acids and various fruit extracts increase the natural color of your skin and boost your tan quality.

What Active Ingredients Does It Use?
There are 10 primary active ingredients in Tan Physics: water, aloe barbadensis gel, soybean oil, dihydroxyacetone, caramel, caprylic triglyceride, mandarin orange peel extract, argan oil, retinyl palmitate and tocopheryl acetate. Most of these items are all-natural and provide your skin with a tan.

However, some of these ingredients are chemical-based and should be researched before purchasing this product. While they are harmless on your skin, people who are looking for an all-natural product should look elsewhere.

The Tan Physics Reviews Are Interesting
One thing we noticed right away when researching this article is a lack of rave reviews. On the Self Tanning website, this product received a 2.5 out of 5. The reviewer was pretty happy with the gel consistency and enjoyed the light brown tint that it provided. She was also satisfied with the quick drying time. However, she complained about the smell, which she said was too similar to household cleaning products.

The reviewer was also somewhat critical of the price, a criticism reviewers on the HighYa website also expressed. While she thought that the mostly natural tanning formula was pretty good, she found it to be too expensive.

The amateur reviewers on HighYa were mostly disappointed with this sunless tanner. Only 38 percent said they would recommend it to others. Other complaints about this product ranged from its unnatural orange color to the stains it leaves on hands.

These reviewers also complained about the price, particularly those who found that it had little to no effect on their tans. It is fair to say that this product has received mostly mixed reviews.
