According to the 2019 Dirty Dozen list of produce that contains the most pesticide residue, you may want to rethink your next salad. Spinach and kale ranked second and third on the annual list after multiple samples of the superfoods showed a presence of 18 or more pesticides. Strawberries topped the list, while avocados, sweet corn and pineapples had the least amount of pesticide residue.

Next time you're shopping for your favorite greens, you may want to consider buying organic.
