Total Beauty: What's one bad beauty habit you can't seem to quit?
Jason: I bite my nails. Every year it's my New Year's resolution to stop -- but it never works. I'm from Cleveland, so I used to be a big LeBron James fan, and somewhere I read that
he bites his nails, which made it cool for a while.
I also steal the little shampoos and conditioners from hotels. I like to use a different shampoo every time I wash my hair -- to keep my hair on its toes.
TB: What's one beauty splurge you make on a regular basis and think all men should, too?
Jason: I have a very elaborate shaving regimen. I shave in the shower, and I have a fogless mirror with a little squeegee. I have a four-step process that starts with the Art of Shaving oil. Then, I shave twice -- first with the grain, then against the grain -- with a Gillette Fusion Pro Glide Razor. Then, aftershave -- I have a few to choose from.
TB: What one product do you swear by?
Jason: Neutrogena Rapid Clear Treatment Pads. I've been using them every day since middle school -- why would I stop?
TB: If you look back, what's one moment that changed your life?
Jason: My sister was adopted, and I was 7 years old when we went to pick her up from the adoption agency. And they handed her to me, and it was like welcoming her into our family. It was the most adult I've ever felt -- and I was 7.
TB: If you were a nail polish, what color would you be, and what would you be called?
Jason: I would be electric blue -- like
Skype blue -- and I would be called "Man Enough to Wear Blue (Nail Polish)."
