My first go with this product I thought it was a hairspray. It is a hairspray but it's actually different, and does other things better. I have long, wavy, highlighted hair. It's dry and damaged. My normal hair routine is get out of the shower, comb it out, apply a detangler, add oil to the ends, add a volumizer to the roots, blow dry it, then apply shine and a hairspray. Then I read the bottled (duh) and tried it the next day on my hair skipping all those other products. Wow! I was so impressed! My hair is so soft, detangled, volumized and not frizzy! I'm kind of in shock. The only thing I am not as impressed with is this as a hairspray. It's a light hold one, great for daytime, but not so much going out. Shine, Volume and Hold!
I really liked this product. It added mild volume, mild hold and a lot of shine. It is not at all sticky and didn't weigh my thin hair down. Love this hairspray!
Typically, I'm not a hairspray girl as I usually just leave my hair straight which is how it falls naturally. This prevents any flyaways and baby hairs from getting out of place and has been great for getting me the perfect sleek ponytail! Impressive multi-tasker
I really like that this product has a built in heat protectant. I used both a blow dryer and flat iron on my hair, so I felt safer having this product as a barrier against all the heat. Once dry, my hair had nice, natural movement. I did not feel like it gave my style a lot of hold though. Awesome Super Great Multitask-er!!
I LOVE how multi tasking this product it! I used it as a heat protector before blow drying and straightening my hair and I can honestly say I loved the results. My hair was left feeling soft, smelling good, and looking shiny all with no sticky traditional hairspray residue. I was also able to brush my hair without any hassle. It's alright....
I like what the product claims to do I just don't know if it actually has made difference for my hair. The bottle states that it can be used on damp or dry hair but I feel in order to get the full effect you need to blow dry/style it. I didn't see any results when air drying, except the smell. Manageable hair, weak hold
This hairspray claims to perform 9 finishes and and styling jobs 1) heat protection 2) UV protection 3) Curl definition 4) Hold 5) Natural shine 6) Volume 7) texture 8)ease of style creation 9) lightweight finish I am giving it an 8 because of its weak hold of style. Of all the above, I have only tried the following: 1) Heat protection- It performs well in this category because my hair does not ...read morefeel frizzy after straightening compared to those times when I do not use any product at all. It does not leave any residue as well. 4) Hold- The hold is quite disappointing. You'd be better off with Suave or Aussie hairsprays when it comes to hold. It only holds my style for about 2 hours, but after moving constantly and if you are active like myself (nurse), then the style may not hold as you want it to be. 5) Natural Shine- I did not see any difference when it comes to shine at all. 6-9) Volume, texture, ease of style creation, lightweight finish- it does give volume and texture, especially good for my hair that is layered. Great Multitasking Hairspray
I just used the Sebastian Stylbrid 9 hairspray the other day when I was getting ready for work, and so far, I am pretty impressed. Being that it's a heat protection spray and a hairspray in-one has allowed me to reach for less products. I like how it goes out as a mist, it smells great, AND it leaves my hair feeling touchable! This is a unique hybrid product that preps and styles. I spray it on damp hair before blow drying as it also protects against heat. It has a nice subtle smell which is very important to me.
