My hair was razor cut a few years ago and so my natural curl was no longer apparent. After letting it grow out, I decided to use a few products to bring out the natural texture again. This product does just that. On dry or wet hair you can finger it through your strands and watch as it comes to life and on top of the results, . Love it Keeps Naturally Curly Hair in Naturally Curly Shape
It makes my naturally curly type 3b spiral curls look naturally curly so to me it is good. Initially if any crunch is in hair it scrunches out easily so it works for me. It ends up making soft curls. I was looking for a less expensive alternative than the products my hair genuinely loves. But at $20 a jar for the current stuff I use this product by Shea moisture is a great alternative. I like how thick it is and how long it lasts! Plus it’s half the price of the stuff I love. It works best on wet hair. I love using this on my wash and goes and my twist outs. This product is also great as a refresh on dry hair. I use this in conjunction with the gel after a fresh wash and I definitely see an improvement in the quality of my 4B hair. I use this in my daughter's natural hair. It does define her curls a little more. But what I like best about this product is that it make her hair really soft.
