Sticky Volume

I debated on whether this product was a 7 or an 8, and decided to rate it a 7 since it could use a few improvements. I have used a similar product from Aveda that I was very happy with. I thought that this might be a more budget friendly version. It is super convenient and easy to use; just sprinkle a little in your hand, rub and apply to root area. I could also see it making roots greasy if too much is applied. It is a great way to add some volume without spending a lot of time! To another reviewer's pount, I would avoid this product on windy days or if someone will be touching your hair. In all fairness though, that is typical for most volume boosting products.

Effective and Convenient

I love dry shampoos but haven't really liked any of the powders I've tried because they are messy and not as effective as the sprays. This is the best powder dry shampoo I have ever tried! You put a bit in your hands and rub your hands together which makes the product (seemingly) disappear. You can still feel it in your hands though, even though you can't see it. This wasn't messy at all, it didn't leave any white residue in my brown hair and it worked so well at absorbing oil and adding body to my thin, flat hair. I got a few free bottles of this from BzzAgent and gave the others to two of my friends who also love it. I was surprised by how small the bottle was when I first got it, but a little goes a long way so I think the bottle will still last quite a while. Also, since it is so small, it is perfect for throwing into your purse for on-the-go touch ups. Because this doesn't contain any liquid, it would also be great for throwing in your carry on when traveling. This is odorless so you don't have to worry about it clashing with other hair products or your perfume. At $5.99 for the bottle, this is super affordable. This is the same price as the Psssssst dry shampoo and less money than Bastiste, yet in my opinion, it works much better than both. I will definitely be purchasing this when my current bottle runs out.

Alright

Pretty good for when you want a lot of volume and you don't want to touch our hair. It is sticky but really adds the volume. Don't use more than u need. I usually just sprinkle it where I'm gonna tease or one my tease brush. But it's not for a day that's windy or if you or someone else will be running fingers through it.

Fun!

I tried this product after reading about it on a blog, and I am glad I did! I have thick hair, but I have a lot of trouble with having the top of my hair look really flat. This worked really well and adds a nice bit of "oomph" to my hair, without totally drying it out or making it too frizzy. It does (depending on how much you use) make your hair texure a bit sticky, but I find that wears off afte...read morer a bit. The fact that the powder turns invisible is wonderful, meaning you don't have to worry about shaking it out or looking like you have a bad case of dandruff. I plan to continue purchasing this as it is great to have for a quick fix. Would definitely recommend.

Actually, pretty cool.

It does work, but you have to shake the product directly into your hair for the best effect. A little goes a long way and you can really customize exactly where you want the volume to be; just shake a bit of the unscented powder onto your hair and then massage it into the roots. I found that my hair could easily be volumized with this product throughout the day with just a quick scrunch from my hands; plus, it doubles as a dry shampoo on lazy days! I say give it a try. Volume?

I purchased this in hopes of an easy way to get volume. I may have a tad bit of volume, but a minute later it goes back to flat. However, its is an Excellent dry shampoo! The best one I have used so far. I do love that it comes out as a powder and when you rub it together--it disappears. Yet it is still there. Pretty cool stuff! I won't use this as a volumizer, but will continue to purchase it as a dry shampoo. I even threw away my other dry shampoo because this one works so well!
