Great Balance

I love this moisturizer because it gave my combination oily skin only the hydration it needed and nothing extra. It's very hard for me to find a good moisturizer that doesn't break me out and I believe that this new Garnier gel-cream is a very good option for me. Also, this doesn't interfere with my liquid foundation which I use almost on a daily basis.

A little too light for me

This moisturizer smells great, but it wasn't quite potent enough for me. It spread easily and absorbed quickly, but I found that it wasn't moisturizing enough. My skin felt dry shortly after applying it. I have combination skin, and while the oil-free gel might work during the summer, it definitely wouldn't be enough for me in the dry winter months. It might work for someone with oily skin, but it wasn't for me.

Very nice!

I really like this moisturizer. I need a little more moisture than your average gel but i don't need a heavy cream. This gel-cream absorbs completely, and makes a smooth canvas for make-up application. It does not get oily later in the day, it helps keep my skin looking normal. My favorite moisturizer is Moisture Surge by Clinique however for the money, this is a close second!

Refreshing, but where is the SPF??

Sooo refreshing! I love the consistency of this gel moisturizer. It works well under make-up and doesn't get peely or shiny. AND it doesn't clog pores! I generally wear it to the gym in place of make-up and i've noticed a decrease in acne. My major issue with this gel is that there's no SPF protection. How am I supposed to fight sun-spots and aging with a moisturizer without SPF?? Riddle me that. ;)

Tried but not very impressed

I have tried and finished the whole glass jar of this but it was not effective to me. Probably my skin was not compatible to their moisturizer.

Not for me but...

1st I wanna say I'm a GN user of various products and I'm very happy with them, but this gel did nothing for me. I loved the gel and it's coolness, love the non-oily base and the scent was nice. My problem area is my forehead, for some reason it's the only dry spot on my face and this did make me smooth when first applied but within a couple of hours I needed more. I couldn't apply any moisturi...read morezer cause I'm a makeup maven. Please note I used this day (under makeup) and at night with maybe a 10% improvement. I am glad to read it worked for many of you.

My go to moisturizer

I have oily, acne prone skin. I am constantly using harsh products to try to clear up my skin, so I need a nourishing moisturizer that will sooth my skin, but not make it super greasy. This does the trick. It gives me enough moisture that my skin feel soft and supple, but because it is a gel, I am not an oil slick.

Something that I have bought twice

I have bought this product twice. It's great and affordable. I have skin that leads towards combination/sensitive, but leans towards the dry a little. Like in says in it's name that it refreshes your skin; it does. I leaves a cool feeling on your skin. Some days I like it, some days I don't. It think it varies on the weather that day. Sometimes it doesn't feel as moisturizing to me. But again, it'...read mores probably the cold weather when I FIRST bought it at the time. I honestly have a love hate relationship with this product. They have a dry skin version of this (pink verson) ; I'm probably going to buy and try that out next since my skin leans towards to dry side and needs a little more moisture into it. I recommend if you have combination/normal skin; and it's strictly for those types.
