No "WOW-factor"
I have used Aveda products, as well as visiting their salons, for years and years. I liked the smell of the product and the feel of it, rich and creamy, when applying but was unimpressed with the results. It is for "dry and brittle" hair, but I was buying it for some dryness on the ends only. It is a nice spa experience in the shower, but for the small tube and the high price, I would have expecte...read mored better results. Really good product
When I went to my current salon, my hair was damaged and nearly colored black. (Somehow my brown kept getting away from the roots of my hair while coloring.) I left with this and the regular shampoo and conditioner, and light brown hair:) After 11 months, I have to say this is a really good product, and would recommend to anyone with dry/damaged hair.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 5 people said helpful

Very Costly - Worked OK
This is $29 for 4 oz. For me, that is just too costly for a moisturizing product. I've had as much success using the CLEAR brand conditioning mask, which is like $5! Wonderful!
I've been an Aveda fan for years now, and the Dry Remedy Treatment is one of my all time favorites! It's great for my thick, long hair, treats all the heat and styling damage, and makes my locks soft and shiny. My trip to the spa in a bottle

Great treatment
I had this as a treatment at the salon and thought it was wonderful - smooth, shiny results. I ended up purchasing the Damage Remedy line because I thought my hair might need more, but actually it's a bit too heavy for me. Mask is really not that great
Wow - Aveda's Dry Remedy Shampoo blew me away. The scent is overwhelmingly hippie with a capital H, but when it says it 'drenches' your hair with moisture, it really means it! I squirted this into my hand, then proceeded to check the bottle not once, but twice to make sure I had really grabbed the shampoo. It's so thick and creamy, I wholeheartedly thought it was conditioner. This shampoo is aweso...read moreme (except for the scent) and really helps to heal dry hair. I was more disappointed in the Dry Remedy Conditioner and the Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque. Even though the featured ingredient (Buriti oil) is featured in all three products, the shampoo is really the most moisturizing product in the trio. Not bad, can be used as normal conditioner
I still miss my sap moss but this will work. Its full of ingredients that help moisturize the hair and it does slightly. Fab moisturizer for weekly treatments!
After testing the first two products in the family, I didn't expect much from the Dry Remedy Masque. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I used this as a twice weekly, deep-conditioning treatment and my hair really benefited. It didn't leave me flat, greasy or oily. My hair had enough bounce and it worked wonders after I colored my hair. Great restorative hair masque!
