Before using this shampoo, I used to straighten my hair almost everyday. Now that I use the straight pin shampoo there's no need for using a straight iron. Believe it or not this is a great shampoo for curley hair even when you do not want to straigthen it. I don't get it.
My hair is never curlier when I use this shampoo with this conditioner. I've used other shampoos / conditioners and my hair is straighter. This shampoo / conditioner (I think mostly the conditioner) gives my wavy / curly hair its shape without being too frizzy. It feels like it takes the same amount of time to straighten my hair when I use this shampoo as with other shampoos.
