soothing mask

I got this from someone as a gift and since I have fairly oily skin I haven't used it at any other time mainly because I wasn't sure if it would make my skin more oily. I used this during the winter after I caught a cold and my nose was red and chapped from blowing. It didn't burn when I put it on (always a good sign) and it left my skin feeling a lot better. It didn't cause further irritation and didn't leave me dry and flaky either. This was very nice and I'm sure I'll be using it again.

Not too effective

This product feels nice and cooling on the face, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference in my skin's overall moisture level. There have also been a few occasions when I experienced mild stinging after applying the mask. I wouldn't buy it again--not worth the money since it didn't do much for me.

I have super-sensitive dry, red skin. I use this mask 2 or 3 times a week to soothe my skin and calm my face down after work and before bed

Hydration to the MAX!!

The Aveda Intensive Hydrating Masque is awesome! I am an esthetician and I recommend this to all of my clients. Whether you have very dry skin or want to simply keep your healthy skin hydrated, this is the product for you. So so

The product is fine, but I haven't noticed much of a difference between using it and not using it. So why bother? One tid bit to share about this product... at the Aveda Salon I got to, the women say they often slather it on their faces before bed and do not remove it until morning. It's a little sticky, but do-able. I made a recommendation under Aveda's Tourmeline Charged Night Cream (which I LOVE and highly recommend) which I have had far greater success with.

AWESOME!

This product works like a miracle on dry skin! It doesn't have much of an aroma so you can mix an essential oil with it if you want. Works AMAZING on sunburn!!! When my skin gets really dry in the winter I will sleep with it on and my skin feels great the next morning!
