I have extremely sensitive and acne prone skin and have struggled over the years to find a cleanser that was both gentle and effective. Philosophy's purity made simple is the one....and perhaps the ONLY one! A product this good would be a great value at any price, but Philosophy's attractive price point also makes you feel like they aren't taking advantage of you....and a few drops are enough to lather your whole face. The best ever

more expensive version of cetaphil face cleanser
I had purchased this product along with the hope in a jar moisturizer, used it everyday for about a month. I found this cleanser to be very similar to the cetaphil face cleanser except it had a light fragrance to it and it was a bit more expensive. I paid 40-45 dollars for the set and found it to be just ok, nothing spectacular, no dramatic difference in my skin. Wonderful!
This cleanser is wondeful. It removes any traces of make up and feels so good on my skin. My clean feels clean, but not stripped. The cleanser is super gentle, but you still feel fresh and clean. After 38 years of searching....
.... I finally found the perfect cleanser. I am African American with oily dehydrated skin, also prone to breakouts. I have tried Proactive, Murad, various OTCs including Olay and Clearasil, several Lush products, Dermalogica... everything was either to drying or did not clean very well. Nothing helped my breakouts (except clearasil anti-bacterial for sensitive skin.) I was settling for the cleara...read moresil, but then I found this. This stuff is great. Smells nice, gets my face super clean but not dry, and my face is clearer than it has been in years. Great cleanser for sensitive skin!
I have combination, sensitive skin and this stuff is great! Doesn't make my skin itchy or red afterwards. Works super and washes off clean. No odor.
