Sometimes a fashion or beauty statement can bring awareness to a cause, and one of the easiest ways to do this is adding a specific color that has been associated with an established awareness campaign.
Aside from wearing breast cancer accessories, there are a few makeup tricks you can do to promote the cause
While the rest of us who don't work in a hospital may not be able to copy this trend, there are plenty of ways to add some pink to your look.
One easy way to show your support on your hands is to get the breast cancer ribbon nail decal. This was a popular trend during October, the breast cancer awareness month, and can be carried on throughout the year.
For a more subtle approach, simply apply some pink eye shadow or lip gloss, that way you can state your cause but still look natural.
Several cosmetics companies offer a pink shade with proceeds going towards breast cancer research. LORAC's Perfectly Pink blush shade goes towards the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund.
These are just some ways of adding pink to your daily look.
