When you have curly hair, there's a lot of pressure to grow it super long and have it always be big because it's so pretty. That's great and long hair is beautiful... but short hairstyles can be fun too — and also often are less work than having these long curls that reach down your back (and take hours upon hours to detangle and style).

I cut my own hair about two months ago because I wanted a change — and I love my short hair. It's so freeing, and while I still need to take care of my curls the same way I did before, it's not as time consuming. Bottom line; it's fun and I really like the way it looks.
