A brush of Illamasqua Gleam in Aurora, $28, along the cheek bones and the bridge of the nose adds a pearly glow, and Tarte Cheek Stain in Blushing Bride, $30, gives cheeks the perfect flush. A soft smoky eye, winged out liner and red lip like Nars Semi Matte Lipstick in Jungle Red, $28, completes the classic look.

I don't think there's anything more glamorous than 1960s beauty. (Nico FTW!) And I absolutely loved Olivia Wilde's '60s-inspired makeup at the Academy Awards. It's a stylized look that sets her apart from the smoky-eye-nude-lip pack, but it's not so retro that it appears costume-y.
