11 Stunning Red Carpet Beauty Looks We're Stealing this New Year's Eve

Because the best way to ring in the New Year is with a killer smoky eye (or bold lip)

Miranda Kerr's Minimalist Perfection
I ooh and ahh over just about any beauty look Miranda Kerr wears. (How could you not? That face!) And this one -- from Paris Fashion Week, naturally -- is one of my favorites. The sleek, pulled back hairstyle is the perfect contrast to her dewy skin, flushed cheeks and fluttery lashes. I'm planning on having a low-key New Year's Eve this year, and this is exactly how I want to look: pretty and pulled together but not overly done. --Dawn Davis

To recreate the look, use Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone, $38, as a highlighter -- a dab in the inner corner of each eye is key to Kerr's look. The Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chick Swish & Pop Blush in Love Glow, $40, is the perfect something-but-nothing cheek color. And a million coats of Marc Jacobs O!Mega Lash Volumizing Mascara, $26, may just give me lashes as pretty as a supermodel's.

Cate Blanchett's Golden Gleam
On New Year's Eve, I like to get away with as much sparkle as humanly possible. However, I usually confine it to my dress. Glitter all over my face and my outfit is too much, even for a sequin enthusiast like me. That's why I'll be looking to Cate Blanchett's classy, flawless makeup from the 2014 Academy Awards. --Emily Woodruff

Get the Look
The easiest way to fake Blanchett's flawless skin is with the Temptu Signature Starter Kit, $200. The airbrush application guarantees your makeup will stay in place the whole night, plus the kit comes with foundation, highlighter and blush. Load up on mascara, then apply Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy in Incognito, $37, for a creamy pale pink lip like Blanchett's.

Margot Robbie's Plum Lip
I didn't think it was possible for Margot Robbie to be any prettier after seeing her in "The Wolf of Wall Street." Then she stepped onto the Oscars' red carpet -- almost completely unrecognizable with dark hair -- with a bold lip and Lana Turner wave combo I still drool over. The plum lip is an unexpected pop of color that complements the rest of her classic look, perfect for an elegant New Year's Eve fete. Now, if only I could copy that sparkly Saint Laurent dress as well. --Marissa DeSantis
