8 New Fragrance Launches for Summer and Beyond

All moods covered

For a fresh zing, spritz on Bastide's newest scent: Verveine du Sud. For those unfamiliar with the French brand, it was founded over two decades ago, but relaunched in 2016 with a new, all-clean approach to formulation and a revived philosophy. Another fun fact: the co-founder is one of your favorite hair gurus, Frederic Fekkai, who grew up across the street from the brand's flagship store.

In any case, Verveine du Sud is inspired by the bastide waters and features a woody foundation that's been splashed with lemon and verbena. It's an eau de toilette, which means it goes on lighter than an eau de parfum.

Tocca Eau de Parfum Gia, $76

You know it's a good day whenever a new gal from Tocca comes along. Gia is the brand's newest addition — and she's juicy. The fragrance was inspired by Georgia O'Keefe — the female American artist known for her macro floral paintings — which is very fitting considering the scent. It has juicy notes of tangerine and pink peppercorn married with Turkish rose, vanilla, and amber.

Gucci Guilty Pour Femme, $70

Launched in January of 2019, this moody and feminine adaptation of Gucci Guilty is the perfect year-round go-to. It's a heavier, more drenched option compared to the others in this roundup, making it especially ideal for eveningwear. It features top notes of a Mediterranean fruit known as Mandora, which is enveloped in spicy bergamot and pink pepper. At the center is a bouquet of violet, lilac, and rose that's resting on a patchouli and amber base.

Your vanity couldn't possibly look prettier with a bottle from the Goutal Paris "Art of the Flower" collection. The collection includes two of their most popular fragrances — Petite Cherie and Rose Pompon — with a legit, stunning embroidered label for each. This isn't just a case of a nice cover, though: Both are light and refreshing scents ideal for these warm months and through fall, Petite Cherie features notes of sparkling peach, pear, musky rose, and just-cut grass drizzled with fresh vanilla. Rose Pompon combines Bulgarian rose essence and peony with the juiciness of raspberry and pink pepper — all atop a base of woody cedar, patchouli, and white musks.
