Do you ever stumble across a nail design and think to yourself, "I need that on my nails RN?" Yeah, we totally feel you. Often times, the nail art we swoon over plays on the details, so we couldn't help but gawk when this gorgeous nail design created by @xlight_nails came across our feed.
The cheery white and yellow sunflower design pops against a neutral gray polish (Zoya Nail Polish, $10, in Dove). We love that the floral design (easily achieved using this nail stamp, $4.99) is only on two accent nails to keep the overall look subdued. Less really is more, ladies.
Why we love it: The holidays are pretty much the be-all, end-all excuse for rocking crazy nail art, and with Fourth of July around the corner, our feed has been flooded with kitschy star and stripe nails. While we love cheesy holiday nail art as much as the next person (because who doesn't like being a little extra), this year we're taking the less is more approach, with this simple nail art by Paintbox. The clean-cut nail design honors the Fourth of July with its patriotic colors and is pretty much fail-proof with its minimalistic design. Lord knows crafting stars is a whole other ball game. Our country might feel a little bit chaotic right now, but our nail art certainly doesn't have to be.
To get the look: Try Essie Nail Polish, $8.50, in Hiking Heels and Mezmerised.
Why we love it: Just like our little black dress, these modern black and white nails are always in style with their striking contrast and dainty design.
Why we love it: This is fiery manicure captures all of Leo's best qualities. Shades of peach, lilac and burgundy accent classic red nails and give it a laidback, fun and summery feel. Not to mention, the striking color combo looks fabulous with sun-kissed skin.
To get the look: Use Essie Nail Polish,$9, in Really Red, Play Date, Bahama Mama, and Tart Deco -- along with a fine-pointed detail brush and some acetone for cleanup.
